How to Make Your Own DIY Slingshot With Slingshot Ammo

Hello and welcome to my tutorial on making a DIY Slingshot. Slingshots are super fun toys to play with, and they are very easy to make. I hope this tutorial will help you make these awesome toys. After you are done with the slingshot, try to beat my record of shooting the slingshot to 23 feet. :)

A Y-Shaped Stick

Disinfectant Wipes

At least two rubber bands.

A Small Rectangular Piece of Scrap Paper

This first step will require to find a y-shaped stick for the body of the slingshot. They are rather easy to find, as you can find them lying around in forests, parks, and other places with a lot of vegetation. I would not recommend cutting up an existing tree for the y-shaped stick. After acquiring the stick, make sure you wipe down the stick with disinfectant wipes to make sure it is clean and safe to use. This is also the time to shave off the bark of the stick (if it has any,) so the bark will not interfere with you handling the slingshot.

Step two is to add the rubber bands to the slingshot. The first thing is to tie the two rubber bands in a knot, so that they are interlocked together. Next, is to put the rubber bands around the y-shaped stick, so that they are touching both sides of the limbs. Finally, tape the rubber bands to the bark, to make sure that they will not come out while playing with the slingshot.

Get the scrap piece of paper, and fold it 4 times, always folding "hamburger style." Now the scrap piece of paper should be very small. Cover some tape around the ammunition, and the ammunition is completed. Just put it onto the rubber band part of the slingshot with the curved side facing your target.

There are endless possibilities for having fun with this slingshot. You can have competitions with your friends, to see whose ammo will fly the farthest. You can make hoops, and try to shoot the ammo into the hoops. You can play a slingshot war with other people. The possibilities are limitless!
