Kandi arm warmer! one of this size takes about 1hr 45min, im making a match for it but you can make one the size of the red-white-and-black ones here if you would like. takes less time, maybe 1hr or more for one^^

Supplies

i didn't count the beads, but i suggest you DONT use just one color for one of your layers. i ran out of my beautiful red beads that way </3 i suggest 3 different colors for one of the pattern layers. like my orange stripes are made of three different shades!

String

string!! for the smaller size you will need a string roughly 2 times your wingspan, but for the twin of the one i'm making, i need one 3-4 times my wingspan.

The 1st Layer/base Bracelet

add 27, 30, or 33 beads depending on your wrist size. must be a multiple of 3 or it will be wonky. tie into a single, but DO NOT cut off the long end of string.

Beginning the X-base

grab your next color, and do what you normally do for an x-base! string 3 beads on, skip two beads, and then string through the last (3rd) bead. repeat all the way around the single. do not cut off the remaining string O_O i'm reminding you because i accidentally did a few times on other projects its annoying >^<

Tighten and Tie

the way i tighten these is that after completing the layer i go to the first bump i did and pull, and then continue onto each bump until i've made it to the end where i have the string. tie it with the number-four-lookin knot and string up through the next 2 beads and out of the middle bead.

Repeat!

for the smaller size, do 3 layers after this one; for the size im doing i have to make 6 more rows :) oh no

Color Transitioning

WIN_20260204_19_33_34_Pro.jpg
WIN_20260204_19_38_37_Pro.jpg

after the 3-6[+] rows you've done, do another layer using 3 beads, except put 1 bead of your next color(s) in between the 2 of the current color.

Making It Wider

this time, add 5 of your next color like so. add one more layer of 5 bead spikes, total of 2 layers of 5 beads

Next Layer/row

WIN_20260204_20_01_38_Pro.jpg
WIN_20260204_20_07_52_Pro.jpg

do a row/layer with 7 bead spikes of your next color now! don't forget to tie after each row >v<

WIN_20260204_20_16_47_Pro.jpg
WIN_20260204_20_16_56_Pro.jpg

now do 5 beads again, but this time DO NOT tighten it fully or it will look horrible >:0 it should look sort of like a bowl, like in the picture i took.

Last Part!

WIN_20260204_20_30_36_Pro.jpg
WIN_20260204_20_30_54_Pro.jpg

now string through to the middle of the last layer, put 7 beads of your last color, and repeat around the circle :D

FINISHED!!

and you're done with it! making the match will take about the same time or less. enjoy your kandi arm warmers!!
