How to Market the Wakey Wakey Alarm Clock
Have you ever been late to an important business meeting, how about college, maybe an appointment. Well today we will be looking at how to make a puzzle alarm clock and how to market it to others. There is a lot of different ways to market to someone and we will check those out.
Supplies
Total supplies needed (electronic)
- bad camera
- digital clock screen
- Arduino board
- battery
- small speaks
- buzzer
- bread board
- laptop
Total supplies needed (hardware)
- clamps
- wood base
All tools needed
- Screw driver with star head
- graphic design
- photoshop
- (possibility of A.I)
How to Build the Alarm
This is a compressed version of this build to save you time as the consumer.
First, we need to take our bad camera and take it apart. This will take your star bit screw driver to unscrew the base. Now pull out the internals of the camera since all we will need is the camera case. Now put this case to the side it will be used later
Second, we need to look at the mechanics of the camera. First lets grab our speaker module, and the buzzer. These are used to help wake you up. So not take those and wire them into the bread board. With these wired in lets go to the digital alarm face.
This alarm face will show you what time your alarm will go off at. To do this take your alarm face and plug that into the bread board. Now also plug in your arudino to the bread board as well. Now plug the arudino into a battery pack so it is charged and ready to work.
Now that all of these are connect first tape the alarm face to the clear piece of the camera frame. The slowly but surly shove all the electronics inside the camera case. Once all of these are in there grab the piece of wood and slap it on the bottom. Then boom we have made your very own wakey wakey alarm clock.
Where to Sell and Prices
The next thing we have to figure out is where to sell and how much to sell for. So for your place i would recommend online stores. Due to in person store becoming slowly pushed away. Then youll have ti figure out how much your product is to make and want to try rising the price by 50 to 100 percent if possible. So for me it cost about 10 dollars to make and push to sell it at 19.99.
Getting the Perfect Shot
In this step we will start to learn more about the green screen shot and how to get a good background. So we need. to get some good lighting first. This can be with bright white lights to get ride of the spots on your product.
Next we need to set up the green screen. This should be set up with the base being green screened and the background. There should be no wrinkles in your green screen to get the best shot possible.
Next we need to look at changing your background. We can either do this by hand or using AI. Now by hand you will have to use adobe which does take a subscription to use. So in my opinion use AI. Now I used AI and I'll share with you the prompt I used on google Gemmi. "Take out the green screen and put the center object on a office desk, also up render it to make it look like it is showing time like an alarm clock."
The other important thing in that is the up rendering. This can be used to make your product look more pleasing to the human eye.
Bill Board Advertisement
This step we will look at how to market your product on a billboard. A billboard should be simple phrase with a picture of your product. For my product The phrase I've gone with is "To never being late". This is a simple phrase that tells people what the product does. To make this advertisement idea get help from AI.
Using your green screen picture of your product we can make a billboard design perfect for any occasion. For mine I told AI to "Take this picture and cut out the green screen and put it on a billboard off of the road with the phrase "to never being late". It gave me a bill board with a city behind it on a very busy road. This is just one way to market your product.
Radio Advertisement
This step will take on the radio advertisement. So we need to make a script that will sell your product and its idea. Due to this being only listening and no visual you will not need a picture of your product. However due to having no picture you have to sell your product to listeners by describing it in detail. Ill provide an example below of what the first couple seconds could look like.
"Have you ever been late to a meeting, maybe school, or a sports game. Well this product is for you, let me introduce to you the Wakey Wakey alarm clock. This alarm clock is just 19.99 and is promised to wake you up with our high quality materials guaranteed to last. Call here at 505-897-9023." (don't call this)
Just in this bit of time it addresses a problem, while be targeted to multiple groups of people, giving them a price, and a place to buy. This is how you should set up a radio ad.
Public Flyer Advertising
This step is the last of the 3 to market your product. This is the flyer method. The flyer method is where you make a flyer of your product and put it out in public places like stores, community boards, or post it online. A flyer needs a couple pieces to it. The first is it need to clean while having some color. It should contain a picture of your product. Then it should have a qr code to scan, a phone number, or a website so they can find your product.
To make it lets use are friendly AI again to help get done in a quick. So grab your green screen product and put it into AI. For me the prompt I used is this "Using this picture turn it into a flyer that is colorful while staying clean. This flyer should include a price tag of 19.99 on it with a fake qr code to scan." This one I did add a price however you do not have to.
This then gave me a flyer that was nice yet needed a few more adjustments so I also added the prompt. "get ride of the ultimate surveillance and add unbeatable alarm clock". This prompt is just to give a little more of what the product actually is.
Now you have just finished designing your flyer, a billboard, and a radio message all about your product. Hope this helped you out.
