For the first step you need a remote area since your learning how to ride a bike there might be a chance you fall. Also being in a remote area helps not crashing into people or cars

Wear Protection

Its best for you to wear protection while learning how to ride a bike. You should get knee pads, elbow pads, and a helmet to protected while riding. Also you can put on a long sleeve shirt and pants so you don't get scratched if you fall.

Maintaining Your Balance

Now that your ready to ride your bike. First you need to learn how to maintain your balance. Instead of pedaling start pushing off with your feet and then put your feet on the pedals but don't start pedaling. With the motion of the bike maintain your balance for as long as you can

Ride in the Daylight

It is recommended for you to ride when the sun is still out because if you ride at night you might crash into something you might not see or someone may crash into you. If you are going to ride at night you should wear reflective clothing
