How to View Your File Directory on a Chromebook

This tutorial will explain how to view all of your files at once in a directory on your Chromebook!

Supplies

Chromebook

HTML

Open the text editor, and copy and paste this code:

Download the HTML File

To download the HTML, press the save or save as button on the left of the screen. Then, name the file and change the ".txt" to ".html". Download.

Open the Files App

To do this, press the launcher button on the end of your shelf. Then click the icon that is blue and has a picture of a folder.

Open the HTML File

In the files app, press the recent tab on the left of the screen. Then, select your HTML file and click open, at the top of the screen. Now, click view.

View the Directory!!!

To view the directory, just go to the URL and highlight it from the right until you get to /MyFiles/. Click backspace, and then enter, and you're done! Now you can view all of your files as links.
