How to Make Glowing Water
Here are the steps taken to make glowing water. You will need a beaker, gloves, pipette, eye protection, a mix stick, glow stick, water, and some dish soap (written version)
Step 1
Take your glow stick and cut off one end, be careful of the glass inside.
Step 2
Cut open the other end of the tube to make it easier to get the glass tube out
Step 3
Take out the glass tube inside of the plastice tube, this contains your diphenyl oxalate.
Fill your beaker with water
Step 4
Cut of one end of the glass, pointed into the beaker
Step 5
Cut of the other end of glass, make sure it is pointed into the beaker so all the liquid makes it into the beaker
Step 6
Use your pipette to take out some of the hydrogen peroxide.
Step 7
Add the hydrogen peroxide to the water and diphenyl oxalate.
Step 8
Add dish soap so the diphenyl oxalate and hydrogen peroxide can mix.
Step 9
Mix it all together and your concoction should glow
