King Spot is a Blue tooth controlled vehicle. It uses a distance sensing device on top of a servo that rotates 60 degrees in the front. Another servo controls the steering. The body is built from an erector set. As the distance to the objects in front decreases a tone increases in intensity. The motors speed is controlled by input codes from a Bluetooth device

The attached diagram shows the layout. The two breadboards are only for display the components.

The attached code is the current version.I have some more modifications to do and will be updating the code periodically.

Version 77 has modified steering code.

Components

The following is what I used, feel free to modify;

  • 4-6 AAA batteries and holder or equivalent power source.
  • 1 HCSR04 Ultrasonic Sensor
  • 1 Potentiometer
  • 2 Servo Motors
  • 3V DC Motor
  • 1 Arduino Uno or Mega board(I used a mega but Uno will do)
  • 2 2n2222a transistors
  • 1 1N4001 diode
  • Resistors - 660K, 220K, 1K
  • 1 Led
  • 1 small bread board
  • 1 small prototype board.
