Awhile back I built a cat toy for our new kitten. He loved it and played with it for months. As he grew older, he lost interest. While remodeling our kitchen I found We needed a new way to store our coffee pods. While conceptualizing how it would look, I realized I already had a something I could repurpose for just this need.

Disassemble and Re-purpose .

The holes were originally drilled with a 1 1/4 forstner bit. Turns out, perfect for a coffee pod. I disassembled the cat toy then cut the brass screws so they wouldn't stick out the back and set them back in.

I then used a couple of strong magnets I like to use for making bottle openers and screwed them on the back. Boom! Coffee pod rack that sticks to the side on the fridge. Holds ten pods too.

Seriously, just that easy.

Enjoy.

Final.

Our cat does't miss the toy at all. At least that's what he told me. He said he didn't care just as long as I found a good use for it and it in no way benefited the dog. I have more on the original Instructable I made for the cat toy. You could go look at that Instructable if you have any other questions.

Good luck.
