K'nex Ball Machine Grid Tower II, Elements
Here are the instructions for the elements I used on my ball machine Grid Tower II.
Have fun!
Three-Ball Release Mechanism
I used this element on Path 1 in Grid Tower II.
Wheel Slope
I used this element on Path 1 in Grid Tower II.
Soft Landing Freefall
The Soft Landing Freefall uses rubber bands to help balls land more softly, hence the name. I used it on Path 2 in Grid Tower II.
Blue-Green Ball Arm Stairs
I used this element on Path 2 in Grid Tower II and on Path 7 in Rujebime.
Green Connector Tunnel
I used this element on Path 2 in Grid Tower II.
Trapdoor Track
I used this element on Path 4 in Grid Tower II. An interesting thing about this element is that if the ball enters with enough speed, the trapdoor will not trigger.
Boat Arm
I used this element on Path 4 in Grid Tower II.
Simple Green Ball Arm
I used this element on Path 5 in Grid Tower II.
Clockwork Arm
I used this element on Path 5 in Grid Tower II.
Square Pannel Stairs
This is probably the simplest element in this Instructable. I used it on Path 6 in Grid Tower II.
Light Gray Connector Pathing
This pathing is quite useful if you have a lot of light gray connectors that you want to use up. I used it on Path 7 in Grid Tower II.
Zigzag Tubing Connector Pathing
I used this pathing on Path 7 in Grid Tower II.
Chopstick Pathing
I used this pathing on Path 7B in Grid Tower II. Chopstick Pathing also makes a great fidget : ).
Ball Painter
I used this element on Path 7B in Grid Tower II. This element looks best when it is covered with paper or panels so you cannot see the inside.
Drawbridge
This element is my biggest and most complicated element, so be sure to follow the instructions carefully. I also like to call it my masterpiece. I used it on Paths 8A, 8B, and 8C in Grid Tower II.
