Knex Crossbow: the C.C.S Rifle
Hey Guys!
So, recently I've had a few more ideas about some new Knex guns but instead I decided to build someone else's gun and was looking around for an accurate slingshot rifle with a good range, and eventually stumbled upon DJ Radio's Longbow SR-L V2 and made it. But I found various problems with it and decided to correct them...So here it is! The C.C.S!
The obvious things that I've changed is the stock and the bipod. But here is all the things that I've changed:
-Lengthened stock
-Added angled cheek rest (very comfy)
-Great accurate new iron sights
-Added adjustable angled scope
-NEW HALF BARREL
-NEW TENSIONED TRIGGER (without using an elastic band!!!)
-Bow raiser
-Ammo Holder (Stops ammo falling out of the barrel)
-Stronger Bipod
-Better Connections of various parts
So let's here them! Pros and Cons
PROS
-All the above
-Great accuracy (Iron Sights: 20ft, Scope: 40ft+)
-Great range (80ft+)
-Very comfy
-True trigger
-Reliable
-Compact
CONS
-Blue rods sometimes stick out (depending on how you hold it)
-The connection between the bipod and the body could be stronger...
That's it! Rate comment and follow me for more!!!
Thanks

Body and Barrel
So then, this is just the middle bit of the gun that you put the ammo on...it also include a horizontal grip and the bipod connection. I modded it off DJ Radio's Longbow so it uses my half barrel tech and still fits the receiver and the bow...
Lower Receiver
This is the handle and ratchet mechanism. This is the same as DJ Radio's.
Stock
This is what you put your shoulder in to make the gun sturdier and easier to aim. It also includes the cheek rest. It's basically the same but lengthened and a new cheek rest!
Top Rail
This is top rail that goes above the barrel. It also includes the new sights and the ammo holder...
Bow
No step by step instructions because it's very simple to make!!!!!!!
Putting It Together!
WOOOO! Now the fun part! All that hard work has paid off! Follow the steps closely!
Bipod (optional)
This is just a Bipod. It's fold able, and a lot stronger than the original but the connection between the body and the bipod is'nt great but not too much of a problem though...
Scope (optional)
This is my own scope which I use to get better accuracy on a longer range (40ft+)
Loading and Firing
YAYZ!! The last step! And it's the fun part!!!!!
