Kr2a1 (Br2a1)

Welcome to my first Instructable, i saw that the knex gun community kind of died so decided to start making my own instructables. This is the Kr2a1, otherwise known as the Br2a1, which is the second gun that i made using this classification system.

Pros:

Magazine that can hold 10-ish rounds max (although i advice putting 5 max in the gun)

Simple to make

Compact

Easy to maintain

Cons:

Unreliable

Weak

Supplies

30 gray 1-slots

(Optional) 1 light orange/light gray 2-slot

19 orange/brown 2-slots

49 red 3-slots

6 green 4-slots

38 yellow 5-slots

3 white 8-slots

4 green rods

2 white/gray rods

5 blue rods

8 yellow rods (9 if you make the optional part)

9 red rods (should be tan if you have them, they are stronger)

7 gray rods

2 blue spacers

2 blue thingys without the pin (forgor the name)

21 tan thingys with the pin (same as blue thingys)

The Core

Too lazy to take it apart fully but- ill explain how to make it.

If you go from back to front of the core, attach 3 yellow 5-slots, put an orange 2-slot on one of the 2 rods on the sides (right side if youre right handed, vice versa for left side), then place 7 more 5-slots, an 8-slot, a 5-slot then make the mag. (Hard to explain, but just put 7 tan thingys with the pin on each gray rod, and a blue one on the bottom one, then make a "tower" of sorts, look at the pictures for reference.) Then put the rail on the bottom of the core. (see the pictures.)Then put the striker (view last picture) from the back into the core. (To make the striker, attach a blue thingy without pin to the tan rod, a 5-slot behind the blue thingy, and wrap a rubber band around the tan rod, in front of the blue thingy.)

Side note: for firing, add as much rubber bands as you'd like, but more rubber bands increases the chance of the striker exploding when firing.

Stock Lower and Upper Layers

Basically remake this, then attach the upper layer on the lower layer (see 3rd picture) then attach it to the core (see 4th picture), then put 2 clips (2 3-slots with a green rod connecting them) to the lower part of the stock's gray rods and the upper part of the stock's gray rods (see 5th picture)

Side note: the 5 2-slots on the upper stock part is a block for the striker so you dont accidentally pull it out out of the gun, so calibrate it so it actually blocks the striker from going back too far.

(Just noticed i kept a part on that isnt "made yet" via this instructable so itll be the next step.)

Magazine Cover

This makes sure the bullets dont fly out when shooting. Remake this, then put it on the magazine tower with the rod sticking out to the front. (Easier to reload.) This also has the sight, hence the 2 1-slots sticking up.

Barrel

Just make this as shown in picture 1-4, then attach it to the gun. (see 5th picture.)

(Optional) Belt Clip

Make this (1st picture) then attach it to the stock like this (2nd picture)

Important Note

I am not responsible for any injuries or damages caused by this gun.

If you made this, feel free to drop feedback in the comments, as well as modify it to your liking.

If yall want, i can upload a picture of a "clip" that i made to store 5 yellow rods. (AKA 1 magazine full for this gun.)
