LED Foam Bracelet

Make a fun light up bracelet with foam, an LED and a 3v coin battery. It's easy, fun and flashy!

Materials Needed:

Fun foam

Fun foam flowers or other shapes

Self-adhesive copper tape

LED Lamp

3v coin battery

Self-adhesive velcro tabs

Glue dot squares

To Start

Cut a foam strip to fit wrist. This is usually about 6-8" and about 3/4 to an 1" wide. Use a hole punch to punch foam shapes if needed. Insert LED in foam shape and pierce the foam strip with the LED leads. Glue down the foam shape.

Fold out the leads to each side on the back of the foam strip. Place a glue square over the leads.Place a another small rectangular piece, measured 3/4" by 1 1/2", of foam over the glue square and fold one lead over, push down flat.

Coin Battery Pouch

Cut a 1' piece of copper tape and use it to adhere the opposite LED lead to the rectangular foam strip.

Closing the Coin Battery Pouch

Cut a smaller strip of foam to close the keep the coin battery pouch closed. Place on the side that doesn't have the LED lead folded over. Use Velcro tabs to close and the ends of the foam bracelet to clasp it around wrist.

Place coin battery in the pouch, positive side to positive lead and negative to negative. Secure pouch and wear with pride!
