The first step is to sketch the outline of a whale shark on a large piece of cardboard. Then Cut that shape out. Next, take curved cardboard pieces and hot glue them long ways down the middle of the cut out. Then to the same thing down the side fins.

Cut small strips of cardboard, enough to bend from the bottom layer of cardboard to the top of the bridge. Glue these all the way around the shark, leaving about an inch and a half space in-between each. For easy taping, you can stuff the empty spaces with crumpled paper.

Tape

The next step is to tape all the way along the top of the shark so that there is no cardboard of spaces visible.

This step requires painting on, with a mixture of glue and water, paper towels all over the shark. Once this is completely dried, repeat this step, only use newspaper instead of paper towels. Let dry completely.

Final step is to paint the shark. First, do a complete white coat of acrylic paint. Once that dries, make the shark dark blue. Finally, add white dots that slowly separate as they move down the shark tail. On the tail, make the dots in lines to make it more realistic.

Hang

Finally, hang the shark on your wall and your done! You can even make your shark a friend. I suggest a hammerhead shark or a sea turtle!
