Prepare & Position the Material
Peel off the protective film from the top surface of the acrylic, then place the 3mm acrylic sheet flat on the laser work bed.
Make sure the sheet is clean and stable before processing. If needed, use pins or magnets to keep the acrylic from shifting during engraving and cutting.
Import & Adjust the Design File
Import your hotel welcome sign design into the laser software.
Adjust the size, text, and layout to fit the acrylic sheet, and make sure the design is clear enough for both engraving and cutting.
Set the Correct Laser Focus
Set the correct laser focus before starting.
Good focus helps keep the engraved text sharp and the cut edges clean.
Frame the Design & Start Engraving and Cutting
Run the Frame function first to check that the full design fits on the acrylic and is positioned correctly.
Once the frame looks right, start the engraving and cutting process. Stay nearby and watch for shifting, smoke, or any unusual condition while the machine is running.
Post Processing
Remove the acrylic piece and peel off any remaining protective film. Use acrylic paint or paint pens to fill or decorate the engraved areas, then let the paint dry completely.
Wipe away any excess paint with a damp tissue or soft cloth to keep the design clean and neat. If your sign needs a standing base, carefully bend the bottom section with an acrylic bending machine. Give the surface a final gentle clean before display.
