Leather Thumb Drive Case

A travel case for 4 usb thumb drives made from leather.
Materials

1. Scrap Leather
2. Leather Punch
3. Pen
4. Scissors
5. Velcro
6. Rivets
7. Hot Glue Gun
8. Key ring with clip
Cutting the Leather Out





NOTE: This travel case is for 4 thumb drives
Cut out two 3 1/2" squares of leather
Next, Cut a 3 1/2" X 2 1/2" strip of leather for the connecting piece
After that, on the 3 1/2" pieces find the middle and mark with a pen
Measure the Thumb Drive Pockets

Cut out two 2 1/4" X 5" strips of leather and three holes on the sides and middle.
Punching the Holes


Punch holes on the 3 1/2" squares with the photos
I punches 5 holes along the sides and three to fit the 2 1/4" piece from earlier.
On the 2 1/2" strip punch 5 holes to fit the square pieces
Rivet together the pieces
Putting the Pockets On


Once riveted together flip the leather.
Take the 5" X 2 1/4" and rivet it to the square pieces bending it to make pockets with rivets
Hot Glue!

Hot glue the bottom of the pockets so the thumb drives don't fall out
Attaching the Key Ring



On the inside, take the pin and mark where you would like the ring to be placed
Punch holes with the leather punch and loop the ring through
Attaching the Velcro



Take two velcro squares and stick them to the pockets
Check to see if they stick together right
Put in Your Thumb Drives!




Check to see if everything lines up and use your thumb drive!
