This instructable I will be showing you how to make LEGO rainbow biomes e.g. (yellow=desert) (blue=ocean) (green=rainforest) and so on. I will be showing you how I made mine but you are welcome to use your own colors and own design for this.

Supplies

  1. Lots of Lego (depending on how many biomes and what color).
  2. A Lego baseplate (mine is 50×50)
  3. A creative mind (:

Marking Out the Biomes

This is not a required step but I do recommend it to help you know how big your biomes will be and for it to look more organized. So I took the time to make all 5 biomes equal sizes and the squares 16×24. (You might see I have 6 squares but only 5 biomes. Yes, the square in the top right corner is extra space not another biome.)

In this step we will make our Lego biomes. The 5 one that I am making is; snow=white, ocean=blue, green=rainforest, red=volcano, and yellow=desert. Be free to make your own biomes however you like. (Sorry the pictures are in random order, I did try to fix this)

Tips

Here are some tips for making these biomes:

  1. Colors don’t have to match perfectly.
  2. Start small and focus on details.
  3. Trees, animals, and other stuff make your biomes come alive.
  4. Try not to keep your ground the same height.
  5. Make it how you like it and don't let others judge.
