Lights-Out Prank

I was feeling a little bored one day, so I came up with this fun prank to play on family and friends. This is a simple way to turn off the lights without anyone finding out who turned them off. Simply follow these steps, and the people you prank will have no idea what just happened!

1. A lot of string/yarn
2. Duct tape

Tear off a piece of duct tape a few inches long. Tear off a smaller piece about an inch long. Stick the smaller piece to the center of the larger piece of tape.

Stick this onto the wall slightly below the light switch.

Insert the string through the duct tape- the middle of the duct tape where the smaller piece has ensured your string/yarn can move without getting stuck. This allows you to pull off this prank easily and as many times as you desire.

Once the string is through, tie it around the light switch once or twice and check to make sure it is secure and ready.

Now that your materials are in position, wait for an unsuspecting person to enter that room. Stand 20+ feet away, with the other end of the string/yarn in hand. Give it a hard pull, and watch the lights go out! Quietly leave and they'll never find out who turned off the lights!
