Make a Pirate Hook for Your Little Salty-Sea-Dog!

My son loves playing with wood and Jake and the Pirates, in that order.  I had told him offhand that we should make a pirate hook at bed time one night.  According to his mother that was ALL he talked about the next day.  When I walked in the door from work I was greeted with "Daddy you're home! Can we go in the shop and make a Pirate hook now?"
