This is my first job with the sewing machine, typically feminine instrument but that I recently discovered for sure interest in creating leather items (using appropriate needles and working at low speeds).
After separating the various components of some old imitation leather bags, I thought about how I could reuse pieces of not so large size recovered from these bags.
I opted, as first use, to create a pouch, the type widely used in my part, to hospitalize the objects current use type: glasses, tissues of paper phone etc. and to keep at hand.

As I mentioned, I used as raw material, the pieces extracted from an old handbag which was true quality leathercloth (textile leather are not all the same ...).
I then cut these two equal pieces among them in the shape of "Orange wedge".
From an old carrier broke I recovered the two closing straps with snap buckle.
In the picture you can see two small pieces of vaguely triangular shape: those for the realization of this carrier DOESN'T serve; in my initial project were included but then, in the way I've overlooked.
The Seam

The two pieces must be stacked upside down to make the seam that will remain inside once the skin will be overturned.
And, in the second picture you can see the first result.
Important do not run the seam up to the border in two extremes but keep to 6-7 cm to allow the insertion and subsequent belt nylon stitching.

I then put together, always performing the backward steps, the two belt pieces; I gave the union a certain inclination to follow, with the belt, the rounded shape of the "belly" of the marsupuio.
To accomplish this stitching it takes a lot of patience, and you must manually advancing the machine because, at a time when the needle sinks in all three tissues meets a considerable resistance, and you must use force to avoid breaking too many times the wire (in my case the wire broke 3 or 4 times on each side)

And we have come to what is probably the most difficult phase: the zipper seam.
Making me help from my sweetheart (who in the meantime was curiously close to observe what they doing) I set the position suitable for the zipper.
I will not elaborate here in long explanations of why I wouldn't be even able; I'll just say that the zipper must be positioned "backwards", as I hope you see in the picture; in any case, for this I recommend you seek the help of an expert to set.
The most sensitive points were the two extremes that, if I hadn't been so hurry to finish I'd rehearsed twice to reinforce them.
Final

Here is the final result.
To take the form to the carrier for the first few hours I inserted inside the filler.
Bèh? What do you think? good result?
Simple but quite elegant in my opinion.
I leave to you thanking you for your attention and. ... If you want it please vote for me as well, I'll be very happy!
