Milk to Plastic Machine

I made a machine that will turn your expired or spoiled milk into usable and biodegradable plastic. This helps the environment because spoiled milk releases a toxic gas called methane that traps heat in the atmosphere making a much higher rate of carbon dioxide. The solution to this is the milk to plastic machine, it runs completely on solar power and all you have to do is pour the milk and in about two and a half days you will have plastic.

Supplies

2 Drawers

Microwave

Cooling box

4 conveyer belts (1 two foot long, 3 one foot long)

Mini elevator

Strainer

2 bowls

Expired or spoiled milk

Drawer

To start out you get a drawer and put your bowl of milk into it to then get slid into the microwave (next step)

Microwave

Here you get your microwave where you slide in your drawer. The milk get microwaved for 1 minute and 30 seconds, it should get hot but not boil, if it boils you have to restart.

Vinegar

Here the milk comes out of your microwave onto a conveyer belt where it stops under a bottle of white vinegar. The axle on the top twists along with the vinegar releasing exactly four teaspoons of white vinegar.

Mix It

After the white vinegar is added the mixer will slowly mix the milk and vinegar for one minute making them curdle. This step is one of the most important steps since the milk has to curdle for it to make plastic.

Mini Elevator and Straining

This is the most important step, first your curded milk goes up the conveyer belt onto the mini elevator which brings it up to the level of your strainer. The curdled milk tilts and gets poured into the strainer that slowly separates the curdle and the whey. Oncer separated the curdle continues going up the conveyer belt while the whey can be used for baking and cooking.

Cooling

The curdle enters the cooling box where it cools for exactly 48 hours, this helps the curdle solidify into a moldable plastic. After it has finished cooling the box will unlock the drawer that you can pull leaving you with biodegradable, moldable plastic made out of milk.

Mold It!

This is it, you have made usable plastic out of spoiled milk. Now you can paint it, mold it, do whatever you want with it!
