IMG_1541.jpg

This is a cool little build that works really good. I have cooked a hotdog and some chilli on it. This instructable is all about how to make and light it.

Enjoy!

For this step you will need the tin snips, the hand can opener, and the soup can.

Start by picking which side you want to be the front. Then take the triangle side of the can opener and make a hole towards the bottom of the can. Next make 8 vertical cuts in the top of the can with the tin snips. Then fold every other one down. That will be your wind breaker/pot holder.

Alcohol Stove

For this step you need the coke cans, the thumbtacks and the knife.

Take your two mini coke cans and cut the BOTTOM off both cans. Then fit one bottom in the other to make a small, short cylinder. Take your thumbtack and in the center of one side make a hole. This is the filling hole. then on the side blow the lip but still on the sliver part make holes around the whole thing. This is your stove part.

How to Light the Stove

Fill the stove with isopropyl alcohol and carefully set it in the tin can wind breaker. Then pour the smallest amount of alcohol in the bottom of the tin can. You will light this.
