Creating a mini finger-sized beanie is a fun and quick crochet project, perfect for beginners or as a cute accessory for dolls, toys, or even as a quirky finger puppet.

Supplies

Notebook - for paper strip and yarn cutting

Yarn - here I'm using 5 ply yarn

Tape

Scissors

Cut Paper Strip

  1. Cut a paper strip approximately 1 cm wide by 10 cm long, where the width represents the beanie’s cuff height and the length corresponds to the beanie’s edge circumference. You can adjust the strip’s dimensions based on your yarn weight.
  2. Fix the paper strip with tape.

Prepare Yarn

To prepare 25-30 pieces of yarn, each approximately 25 cm long, you can use a notebook or cardboard as a guide for easier processing.

Wrap Yarn Onto Paper Strip

  1. Fold each yarn piece in half and thread it through the paper strip loop.
  2. Pull the yarn tails through the folded loop to secure it.
  3. Repeat this step until the entire paper strip is fully covered with yarn

Flip the Yarn Tails

Flip the yarn tails upward from the paper strip loop.

  1. Use the yarn of same color to tie the tails
  2. Cut the excess tails
  3. Shape the beanie and bobble
