Welcome to my tutorial on assembling the phone holder.
I found a lot of designs for this style of phone holder relied on gravity alone to grip the phone. Although simple and affective for printing and assemble as a working phone holder, I found unless its on a desk or somewhere solid and stationary, there’s the risk the phone could bounce out.
I have designed this phone holder so not only is gravity helping but it is also sprung loaded with TPU grips to hold the phone and stop it bouncing out.
To load and unload the phone just simply push the bottom grip up and side grips will open out.
The stand is currently set up to take phones that are 71mm to 94mm wide but can easily be modified to take larger or smaller phones by changing the grips (grip options coming soon!).
There are currently 2 mounting options with more in the pipeline! If you have any suggestions for mounting options, please feel free to comment or PM me!
