Mood Persona

Fear of Science. A fear of science is a fear of experimentation, making notes, reviewing them. Our own brain is a science, so, a fear of science means fear of everything. In order to cope with it, I built a simple tool, a mood empathizer - a conversation starter game. Here is how it works.

I came upon a vision board and a mood board. A mood board is a board to determine what mood I am in recently, something along the lines of, how I feel rather than how I want it. So, the different colors act as an indicator of the color. For example, yellow is bright, irritated, innovative and idealistic. Red stands for energy, passion and anger. While blue stands for depression, low mood, water and flow zone.

So, when a person is in that mood, the other people can understand what is the crux of the problem they may be facing.

Consider for example, I mark my picture (in the yellow) and move it to Blue, then, if someone else, say my Dad sees it, they would see that I am feeling blue. So, he may ask, what happened, or "what causes your blue mood today".

Also, it indicates different symbolisms as well. Make a printout of the color meanings, and ask yourself which color am I attracted towards, and place it on that color, check the printout or the internet for a deeper meaning of that color.

For example, I place my tag on Green. I realize upon doing research and study, that I need to visit a park to feel the trees and the wind, and the lake.

PS: Use more colors or more people to make it fun! Add friends to this board to understand where they are at.

Or one can also add depth to this board. The deeper in color a tag is, the deeper they feel that color.

Supplies

  1. Bottle Caps - as many as there are people in your family.
  2. Colored sheets/painted sheets in the form of a pie-chart.
  3. Magnets - I have used 6 magnets, 3 to hand the sheet, 3 to hand the tags.
  4. Glue, glue to stick the photos on the tags and the magnets on the tags, and to stick colored sheets to the pie-sheet.
  5. Printout of color meanings.

Glue Everything to Its Pieces

  1. The bottle caps to magnets and the same magnets to photos.
  2. The mood board on the fridge and the magnets on the mood board.

Play

  1. Morning, evening, afternoon, whenever you want to know the whereabouts of fellow teammates or fellow family members, just ask them through the token, how they are feeling, what's up. why that is up? Ask them about the specific color meaning.
  2. Make a note of this for later reference.
  3. Remember all cues for all people with respect to different colors.
  4. Battle it out for the positives! Find moments and times, and places, when you felt that color.

Keep a Track

Keeping track means more learning, more theory, and more understanding of my own moods. Keep a track of all moods, some are weird if you go deeper and make a note of everything to improve mood processing.

Ultimately, it should look like a manual of mood.

Refer Manual for manual on colors.

Add Ons and Variants

I created this one, this one is called as Deep Feelings. The deeper you place your token, the deeper you are feeling at the moment.
