Mr Pineapple Head
A while ago, my Close Personal Friend (TM) Maki was on Strip Search. As a result of this, Pineapple Maki was born. Here's a variant on the design, using parts from a Mr Potato Head.
Materials
You'll need:
- A Toy Story Mr Potato Head
- A Mrs. Potato Head Honeymoon Spuds kit (for the shades)
- Some low-temp plastic (e.g. Instamorph)
- A pineapple shaker
- Some black paint
- A paintbrush
- A drill
Prep the Pineapple
Drill 1/4" holes for the nose, arms and feet. At this point, you can shake out all the metal bits inside the pineapple.
Add a Beard
Melt about 1 Tbsp of plastic and form it into a beard. It's easiest to do this in-place. The plastic will stick to the back of the mustache while it's still hot. Add some texture to the beard by scoring a few lines on the surface.
Paint
Paint the shoes and beard black. I used acrylic paint and a brush. Spray paint should be fine too.
Assembly
Assemble the pineapple using the sunglasses from Mrs Potato Head, and the arms, nose, shoes and mustache from Mr Potato Head.
