Mulled Wine Dessert Cups

I've been seeing "wine gummies" pop up on pinterest lately and wanted to try a new spin on it. This is a super easy recipe you could use as a dessert, or as a fun companion to a classy cheese plate. Sweet, with just enough booze to loosen things up for a romantic evening!
*Thanks to everyone who voted and got this recipe a Runner Up award in the Date Night Dinners contest. I really wasn't expecting this one to take off. There were a lot of very beautiful and tasty looking treats in that challenge. I'm hoping some of you tried it anddiscovered how delicious it is!
You Will Need...

Recipe makes 2 servings
1 Cup Red Wine (your choice)
1 pkg Orange Gelatin
2 TBSP Honey
1 tsp Vanilla extract
2-3 dashes of ground cloves
Tools: Saucepan, measuring cup, measuring spoons, stirring utensil, shallow glass pan, small cups/dishes for serving
You Make Me Hot

Combine all ingredients EXCEPT the gelatin in a saucepan.
Heat on Low. Do not boil. You're just heating it enough to liquify the honey and ensure even distribution of all ingredients throughout.
Whisk to mix.
We Gel Together

Now add your orange gelatin 1 TBSP at a time.
Pour in a TBSP.
Whisk/ stir until dissolved before adding the next portion of gelatin.
Do this 4 times. You'll notice you're mixture gets a little more vibrant with each dose of orange and you'll really start to smell the yumminess!
Playing Hard to Get

Once all gelatin portions have been added and are dissolved/ mixed in, pour the liquid into your shallow glass pan.
Here's the hard part: Refrigerate at least 2 hrs.
Your mixture will set into a gelatin dessert state.
*Note: If you have a kids, you might want to tuck this in the back or label it "only for grown ups". The last thing you need if you're trying to have a romantic night in is a missing dessert and a couple of crunk toddlers.
Let's Spoon!

When the dessert is set, spoon into your chosen serving dishes or cups.
Garnish with a small wedge of orange, or give it a quick chocolate drizzle.
This tastes just like a cozy mulled wine and is sure to be a unique addition to any V-Day dinner. Perfect for a treat by a romantic fireside or as a fun alternative to mimosas at brunch! I am totally guilty of having a few spoonfuls for breakfast today....
