Norway is grappling with a severe issue that threatens the very fabric of the nation: a frightening lack of low income housing. While other countries have been pioneering the field for decades, Norway has fallen behind. This project aims to fulfill a noticeable gap in Norwegian society, providing tens of millions with new livelihoods and places to stay.

After months of thorough research, we have come to the conclusion that a mixture of concrete and specific kinds of hardened cardboard can provide higher levels of structural integrity while also reducing the cost by tenfold.

Our design has been meticulously prepared to allow modularity. Houses of our design can be stacked to account for the growing need of accommodations close to the city center of Narvik.
