Needlefelted Dragon Necklace
A handcrafed needlefelted dragon on a chain. The idea is simple and does not need a lot of materials, only a bucket-load of patiance. The design can also be adapted from person to person based on what one feels like making.
Supplies
1 chain the length of your choice
Felt in different colors
1 felt needle
The Idea
The process is very straight forward. Find a design/ designs that inspire you and make a rough scetch of what you want to make. I often veer a bit off the original plan and the product comes out looking a bit different.
Felting

Using the felt and needle felt the dragon, while keeping the chain inside the body so that one end reaches the head and the rest is hangig out of it's tail. Lastly add balls of felt in a gradiating color and decreasing in size for the tail. You can connect the hook of the chain to the dragon by piercing the felt with the hook.
