I built a very spinny boi that looks like it's doing spinjistu

Supplies

you need the EXP vex robotics kit. Specifically these(more or less); i accidentally put two different angle of these things ( _/ ); you will need them to be the same angle, but dont worry you will see what i'm talking about later; you also need these black washer thingies;

IMG_2746.jpeg

you will make the top part :);put the black things on the end of the shafts and put the shafts through the three long rail like this with the long one in the middle and the two capped ones on the sides

IMG_2747 (1).jpeg

attach the gears with a square in the middle of each of them; the metal gear goes in the middle.

IMG_2748 (1).jpeg

put the black circle holder things on the top of the shafts

IMG_2749 (1).jpeg

use your super strength to push down the shaft like this

IMG_2752.jpeg
IMG_2765.jpeg

put a big one of these spacer things on the bottom part of the shaft

IMG_2766.jpeg

put a metal square next

IMG_2767.jpeg

put the small wheel on like this

IMG_2769.jpeg

put a black holder thing and a big spacer in that order

IMG_2770.jpeg

put a metal square next

IMG_2771.jpeg

put the big wheel on next

IMG_2772.jpeg

put the black holder thing on next

IMG_2762.jpeg

look your done with the bottom!!! :D; also if the structure is not sitting flat just give it a push down and adjust the black holder things so it looks like this

IMG_2775.jpeg

now for the top part. Start by making this structure square thingy

IMG_2776.jpeg

next, attatch the motors like this; use medium size screws (if most of it screws in and the rest is impossible than the screw is too long)

IMG_2815.jpeg
IMG_2777.jpeg

now screw in these two rails(the rails are two long) like the first picture (sorry there is more stuff you did not do yet just focus on the two rails attatched to the square you just built). Please please please do not do it like the second picture. It will be unstable and not spin well if you do this. You have to leave a space on one of them.

IMG_2778.jpeg
IMG_2815.jpeg

Next, screw in the rectangle thingto the square thing. I know the first picture shows the rails from last step in the wrong place and I'm sorry. In the second picture you can see that the rectangle is on the side of the rail that is one over. Yes the rectangle is not one over and I dont know how it works.

If you want you can remove the one over rail and its still kind of balanced. that's how I made the prototype .here is proof in the download and I'm sorry for bad directions

IMG_2779.jpeg

put the bolts in the main brain like this. They will probably fall out, but just put them in before you screw that specific corner of the brain.

IMG_2815 (1).jpeg

Next, screw in the brain to all the extender things; dont forget screwing in the rectangle to the brain also; every screw should be on the outside corner of the rail or rectangle. If you cant figure out how to screw in the rectangle removing the one over rail might help. Also for the rails you have to use longer screws. From now on, ignore the rails they are screwed in wrong in the pictures.

IMG_2782.jpeg

plug in your wires like this.

IMG_2783.jpeg

next, plug in the wire to the motors

IMG_2788.jpeg

screw in the _/ to the __ like this. Make two of these, and remember the two _/ have to be the same angle.

IMG_2789.jpeg
IMG_2790.jpeg

Screw it on each side like the first or second picture. I suggest the first picture, because although it is a little unstable it is really balanced. Now your done with the top part :D

IMG_2810.jpeg
IMG_2811.jpeg
IMG_2813.jpeg

Now you have to connect the two; so you get the holes in the motor and attach them to the two big shafts. They most likely will not be aligned. dont worry you can spin the red gears with your hands until one of them lines up than push down on that side. than spin the gears until the other one lines up and push it down. If you dont have enough length on the shaft just push up on it from the bottom and adjust the black holder thing. It should look like the third picture. if there are any problems you can just reach in with your hand.

IMG_2792.jpeg

next you have to turn on your brain; press the button on the side and green lights should appear

IMG_2793.jpeg

next hold the check button until the brain is on; if these last two steps dont work you might have to change the battery of the brain

IMG_2794.jpeg
IMG_2799.jpeg

it should show the first picture . Press the right arrow button until you see the second picture and than press the check button

IMG_2800.jpeg
IMG_2801.jpeg

press the right arrow button until you see the first picture and than press check; it should look like the second picture; follow the directions with your controller to sync

IMG_2803.jpeg

when your done with that press x until you get here (you might have to press x multiple times)

IMG_2804.jpeg
IMG_2805.jpeg

press the left arrow until you get to the first picture, than press check it should look like the second picture.

IMG_2814.jpeg

before you run, adjust the two motor shafts like this (you are pushing the bottom part of the shaft up and holding the black holder thing on the top of the shaft still; do this for both sides); this will allow for maximum speed

IMG_2805.jpeg
IMG_2807.jpeg

now press the check button. and do this to the controller and your spinning :D
