No Power Animatronic Plank From Ed Edd and Eddy Fidget Toy

Feels like a long time back when I was small.I used to watch Cartoon Network. Ther was a show named "ed edd and eddy". In it there was a character named plank whowas the closest companion of Jonny. It was just a 2x4 plank with a face drawn on it. Many a times I wished if plank could talk. So I made this for my kid bringing plank to life. I you knew plank, your life was awesome.

Not much things are required.

Card stock papaer

Skewer stich or match stick or tooth pick

rubber band

Nylon fishing line

Cello tape or scotch tape

Drawing instrument (pen)

Cut the card stock to size. Draw the corners to make it look like a plank of wood. Draw some cracks to resemble plank.

Mark 3 holes. 2 for the mouth and one for controlling thread topass through. While punching make sure to use some king of padding, so that not to damage the work surface.

Use the nylon thread to pull the rubber band through the holes made for the mouth.

Secure the rubber band with skewer sticks so that they don't slide out. Secure them more with cello tape or scotch tapes.

Tie the nylon thread to one of the rubber band parts and trim the excess. Pass the nylon thread through the third hole on the card dtock and make a loop at the back and tie. Check the length as per your convenience. How you will be holding the plank in your hand. Secure the knot after you are satisfied. Trim the excess.

You are almost done. Draw a face. Plank has only eyes. You can decorate yourplank as you wish. Pull the thread in the back to make plank talk.
