Haven't you wondered why painting is called fine art? Yes, because the images are present in real visible forms. Only painting, photography, drawing and graphics are able to convey the world in time, in development, in motion.

In my project, I am not trying to create a master class, let alone a manual on how to draw. Everyone has his own path, his own knowledge and, in the end, his talent, everyone portrays as he sees it. Therefore, every work, be it a drawing, still life, landscape is not repeatable. You can object to me, because copies are being written. But everything is not exactly the same, like fingerprints.

And so, back to the project, otherwise I got a little clever here. After the canvas was prepared, pulled over the 60x90 subframe and primed, I fixed it on the easel.

The theme of the ball was chosen spring: forest, river, clear sky, thaws.

Having started work, the first thing I did was apply an understudy. This is when a symbolic sketch of the future image is made, what will be where, as well as finding out with

the lightest and darkest place on the canvas. In the process of subsequent writing, the paintings are constantly compared and compared when applying colors.

I threw a long-range plan. Having finished scattering strokes on the canvas and stepping aside, I caught myself on what was already that. what is on the canvas can be safely carried for sale. Although the queue is unlikely to gather for the acquisition of such a masterpiece. But, believe me, they are trying to sell this

The business plan has failed, we must continue to "maluvati." In the background, I apply the outlines of trees, they are not sharp, blurred.

Next, I apply trunks, branches in steps, all this is intertwined, one stroke is superimposed on another, creating a feeling of volume in space. The outlines of trees and bushes, without drawing details, go to the front edge of the forest. The main thing is not to break away from reality, to maintain balance so that nothing breaks out on its own, this is helped by the initially applied darkest and brightest place on the canvas.

Along the river I scatter fallen trees, hemp and protruding firewood from the water. I depict the ice as old, stuffed, along the shore of the rim. In the forest river, the banks are mainly covered with vegetation, so I abundantly plant shrubs on the right bank. It is not always flat, wind, snow, howls and draws whips chaotically

I return to the forest, before writing the central composition. Brush No. 1 is finalized by trimming the villi at the edges to the required thickness. Now I scrupulously prescribe thin branches along the edge of the forest, as well as the transition of the forest mass into the sky.

I lack a compositional center to focus on in my work. So a group of spreading, in places with dry tree branches appears in the picture. Although I emphasized this, trees should not be highlighted in color or tone, it is necessary to ensure that all elements are organically interconnected. there was a correspondence of their volumes, light and shadow, spots of color. And yet, in order for the object to become the main thing in the picture, it must be made large.

For greater realism, add twig mass to the right side of the canvas.

Moving to the near plan. Here, along the outline of a ragged bank, I add shrubs and bunches of dry last year's grass. In the wormwood mirror I enter the ringing reflection of tall trees.

I wanted to show in my work not yet hot, but already melting frosty expanses warm sun, caressing the tops of trees with its rays. The murmur of water and the rustle of rubbing ice floes among themselves in the river stream.

And I also have an opinion, paintings are like books, and they are both written. Poorly written books are not interesting and do not pay attention to them, and if the plot is good, then they are in demand. So in painting, sometimes you pass by the canvas, but the eye slides, there is nothing to cling to. And other work attracts attention, you stand, study...
