One Eyed, One Horned Flying Purple People Eater

Ok lets start with the reason I wanted to make a one eyed,one horned flying purple people eater. Well, because i didn't have one and just because I can. I wanted the one eyed,one horned flying purple people eater to actually eat people. Felt people that is. To do that Bob (that's his name) would have to have a little pouch for a mouth.  
Now for the things you'll need
Purple fleece
White,yellow,black felt
gray fleece
zipper 
inter fabric ( I used red cotton)
needle and thread
paper
scissors
sewing machine

The pattern for this is very easy. All you need is a U shaped body, triangle for the horn, two circles, a wing shaped thing, and smaller U shapes.  

Pin the body piece to the purple fleece and cut it out. Measure the curve and add 1/2 an inch for seam allowance mine was about 20 inches. Cut a rectangle with that measurement by 5 1/2 . So mine was 20 by 5 1/2 inches.  Now you'll need to measure the straight edge and add 1/2 inch for seam allowance. Mine was 9 1/2 inches. This rectangle will be the bottom of the monster. So the width  would also be 5 1/2 inches by whatever you're number was before. Mine was 9 1/2 by 5 1/2 inches.

Now with the gray fleece cut the wing shaped thing and the small U shaped feet. You will need to cut out 4 wings and 8 feet. Also cut out the two circles, one in white felt and the smaller one in black felt. For the horn cut two triangles out of the yellow felt.

First hand sew the black circle to the white and then sew that on the body. Also mark where the zipper starts and ends on the right side of the body piece. Now take the inter fabric and make a pouch. Sew the two sides on the zipper and then sew along the edge. Also cut a slit where you marked the zipper.

First sew around the edge and stuff. Then mark three lines and sew with a zig -zag stitch. Then whip stitch the edge of the wings and the feet. 

Now pin and sew the pouch on the slit of the face with a zipper foot. At the end of the of the zipper I couldn't really sew that  well , so I had to back stitch that part by hand.

Take the long rectangle and pin the horn to the front and the wings to the back and sew. After that pin the feet about 1 inch away from the sides and also pin the bottom piece. But leave one side open to stuff later.

After you stuff it then sew a blind stitch. And make people!! Fold a piece of paper in half and cut out half a person. Then pin it on felt and cut that out . Now you have people for the One Eyed, One Horned Flying Purple People Eater to eat. And now you're done!
