One String Altoids Guitar
This is a simple project that is good for beginners and is fun to build. You could build it for fun or if you have a son in need of the music merit badge if he is in scouts. It only took 30 minutes to an hour, so it's pretty cheap and fun! Double win!
Materials
Since I have decided to share this after I built it, fail! I can only tell you what the materials are.
wooden ruler,
an Altoids can,
a wooden dowel,
an eye hook,
a guitar string,
hot glue,
Spray paint.
