Place the Oreos in a bowl or ziplock bag and mash until they are broken into small pieces. (Remove about ¼ of a cup and place to the side for later).

Combine

Add one package of cream cheese to the grounded up Oreos and stir until the ingredients are mixed together.

Roll

Roll the mixture into small balls, and place in the freezer for about 10minutes. ( *NOTE * Placing the Oreo balls in the freezer is an important step, they need to be chilled enough so that they don’t fall apart when dipping them in the melted chocolate)

Melt

Warm up the melting chocolate in a glass bowl for 30 seconds then take out and stir. Repeat the process for 15 additional seconds until the chocolate is melted.

(*NOTE*: Be sure to watch the chocolate and stir each time, because overheating will cause the chocolate to burn.)

Drop

Drop the chilled Oreo ball into the melted chocolate, use a fork to turn the ball to get it evenly coated and place on a piece of wax paper and sprinkle the crushed Oreos on top.
