Origami Moth
Moths come in different shapes and sizes. So do butterflies and they both have different types of wings and sizes. Today, we are going to cover creating moths using origami.
Supplies
A sheet of paper.
Stapler
Fold As Per the Sequence of Images
- Take a square sheet of paper.
- Fold across the diagonals.
- Mark a line parallel to the diagonal approximately 1cm from it.
- Continue until the point is reached.
- Do this for the other side until you see a straight diagonal strip.
- Compress one side and staple it right in the center.
Try Different Colors and Sizes
- I have made one using red color. You can also combine colors, add folded origami sheets to the ends of the wings to create different types of moths. You can also cut alone the wings to give them a round shape.
- I made a bigger one using a 45cm x 45cm sheet of paper.
