Origami Pineapple Artwork

Origami paper pineapple 🍍

Turning plain sheets of art paper into lively pineapples is a beautiful craft that combines color, patience, and folding skill. The small folded pieces of yellow paper come together to form the textured body of the pineapple, while carefully placed green pieces at the top create a spiky crown of leaves. In this project, we will make two pineapples—one big and one small. This craft does not require any complicated tools, only neat folding and assembling, and the result looks vibrant, decorative, and fun.

Supplies

  1. Yellow art paper – for pineapple body
  2. Green art paper – for leaves
  3. Scissors
  4. Glue (optional, for extra strength)

  1. Fold the square from both diagonals.
  2. Fold in half widthwise, then open this last fold to see the center line.
  3. Fold both top corners downward to meet the center, forming a triangle shape.
  4. Flip the piece over. Fold the small strips sticking out at the bottom upwards.
  5. Fold the entire piece in half along the center.
  6. You now have a triangular module with two pockets.
