All you need for this project are scissors and paper( 1/2 inch × 10 inch)

take your paper and fold a regular over and under knot. make sure you don't crease the paper and that it stays flat. after your knot is complete push down to make sure everything is as flat as possible.

at the ends of your knot there should be excess paper sticking out. Take the shorter end of the excess and tuck it into the knot as shown. You may need to trim it a little to make it fit. now flip everything over.

Now take the long side of the excess paper and begin ti fold it. fold it once around the star. Be sure not to turn it in awkward directions because that could lead to tears and unwanted creases. Also make sure that when you finish folding around once the rest of the excess paper lines up with a pocket on the star.

Tuck the excess paper into the pocket you lined it up with. You will definitely need to cut it to make it fit. Once you have got it in you should be looking at a Pentagon.

Carfully push in the bottom right edge of the Pentagon. Don't push too hard or too far. Use the picture as reference and then do the same for all of the other edges
