Paper Airplane
Learn how to make a paper airplane
Supplies
- 1 Sheet of paper
- Table or flat surface to fold on
Place Paper
Place the paper down on the table in portrait orientation and smooth out any wrinkles.
Fold
Fold the paper in half lengthwise. Make sure to line up the corners and then crease the paper down the middle.
Unfold the Paper
Open the paper back up. You should see the center crease from your fold.
Fold Corner
Take the top left corner and fold it down towards the center crease. The fold should create a right triangle shape with the new edge lined up along the center crease.
Fold Corner 2
Repeat on the right side and fold the right corner in. The paper should now look like an arrow and form a point at the top.
Fold Top Again
Fold the new top edges in towards the center crease again.
Fold in Half
Fold the plane in half along the original center crease, towards you.
Create Wing
Lay the plane on its side. Fold the top layer down so the edge meets the bottom fold. This creates one of the wings.
Create Other Wing
Flip the plane over. Repeat and fold the top layer down.
Test
Hold the airplane at the bottom and throw in front of you. See how it glides and adjust the wings as needed.
