Paper Flower Bouquet

I made a paper flower bouquet that is perfect for quick hand made gifts. (The flowers i used are only examples so you can go online and find tutorials for diffrent types of flowers to add or even exange the ones from my bouquet

-Colored paper

-Scissors

-Stick glue

-Hot glue gun

-Glue stick for hot glue gun

-Straw (optional)

-Cardboard

-Accessory for you bouquet (optional)

You will need: 6 paper squares (i used light blue 15x15 paper)

First, you will fold the paper in half horizontally, then verticaly. After that you will fold in diagonally in both ways. (As in the pictures. This should create 8 lines going towards a middle dot.

Fold one of the corners towards the middle ''dot''. Then do the same to the one next to it. This should create a triangle point on the top half of the paper.

This next step is quite difficult so make sure to watch the video for this one. Put the paper so that the face of the paper that is towards you does not have the little flaps. Then fold it in half and pinch the middle of the back to fold like it did in the video. That fold is difficult so you might have to fiddle around with it.

For this step you will also need to watch the video to make sure you do it corectly. You need to fold the left corner inside of the little pouch it makes. *DO THIS 6 TIMES*

Take the flap that is left and glue it in the pouch of another piece of paper. (look at the video) You need to do this all the way around untill they are all conected.

If you look around at your flower you will see that there is flaps that are no atached to the main ones. roll them towards the incide to make hearts.(look at the video)

Turn your flower inside out. Know your gardenia flower is finished! (you can make multiple of these depending on how big your bouquet is or how many of each flower you want in it. This is a good statement flower)

Get a piece of paper (any color) and draw a cut it in a circle. (mines diamater is 14cm)

Fold your circle in half 3 times and then cut the edges like flower petals.

Unfold the flower and fold the petals slightly.

Now cut one of the fold lines and roll it in to a beautiful flower and glue it there(i used stick glue). Insert a straw or paper straw in your daisy (You can put a gem, rolled up paper or other things to cover the top of your straw that's sticking out. Now your daisy is ready! this is a good ''filler'' flower.

Take a piece of paper (Mine is 12cmx12cm) and fold it in half diagonally to form a triangle. Then 2 more times to form a smaller triangle.

draw on a petal shape on the triangle and cut allong the lines. Now unroll it to reveal the flower shape. Create 4 more!

Cut 1 petal of of the first flower, and cut the second in half.

take the first flower and gue on of the petals that are next to the cut one to the other. Now take the flower you cut in half and do the same thing you did to the other flower. (do it to both of them)

Cut a flower so you have, : 2 petals (together) and 1 petal (alone). Now stick them together (you will need to roll them)

Now cut 2 petals off the last flower and stick it like the first one.

This one is optional but you can take the last flower and stick it together like the other ones to make extra petals.

Now put the flowers in eachother from bigest to smalest. Now your gonna take a small pipe like object (im using a straw) and put it trew the flower in there holes at the bottom (if they dont have it you can cut it). I would also recomend puting some thing at the end (gewel, pompom, roled up paper) on one side of the straw ( hot glued) to make the flower bud.

With these 3 flowers you can vary in there sizes and colours, You can put as many of each flower or only one if you want (1 used random ammount,colours and sizes.)

What i used to keep my bouquet in place is the following: Take a piece of cardboard about 20cmx20cm or more. Then poke holes in it and place your flowers in the holes( If there not staying there you can hot glue them.)Then i cut the extra cardboard on the side and rolled it in paper to look like a bouquet. (if the cardboard is visible you can paint it green to look nicer). If you want to you can add accessory. You bouquet is done!
