To begin building the UNO card holder, start by cutting out the side panels as shown in the first image. Each curved piece has specific measurements, with a height of 9 cm, an outer curve length of 11 cm, and a base width of 22 cm, while the inner slot width is 18 cm. The thickness of the cardboard used is 0.4 cm. A matching piece of white drawing paper is then cut in a curved shape to fit inside the side panels—this acts as a spacer to create the slot where the cards will be inserted. As shown in the following images, the paper is neatly placed and aligned between two curved cardboard pieces to ensure a proper gap. Once both side panels are completed with this spacing, they are attached to a rectangular base box, forming the main structure of the card holder.

Add Aesthetics

Once the structure of the card holder is complete, it’s time to make it visually appealing. You can paint the surface, cover it with decorative paper, or even add patterns or stickers to match your style. Pay attention to the edges and curves to give it a neat, finished look. Adding aesthetics not only makes your project stand out but also gives it a personalized and polished touch.
