QR Code Bad Jokes

Bad jokes have existed since the dawn of time, yet sadly these have not been updated for the 21st century.. UNTIL NOW! The QR code Bad Joke Project seeks to harass the public sphere by hiding bad jokes as an interesting and engaging poster.

Obtain Some Bad Jokes

First to start this project I had to get some bad jokes. I took the short way out and used the Oatmeal's Dumb Jokes That Are Funny to find jokes i liked.

Other sources of bad jokes can be found at the following places:
- Dads
- Uncles
- First Dates
- Sporting Events
- Cocktail Parties

Where ever you get your jokes, make sure they are bad, in a good way.

Make the Punchline Into a QR Code

Find a text to QR code maker, i used http://qrcode.kaywa.com/.

Take your joke, for example:

What do you get when you cross a tyrannosaurus rex with fireworks?

DINO-MITE!

Into an awesome QR code as seen in the photo below.

Combine the Joke and New QR Code Punchline

Using photoshop, or the gimp or whatever photo editor you use (paint?), create an 8 1/2 x 11 Image containing the QR code and the Joke.

Post Them Around Town

The last step is to post them around town, and wait for people to come across them, so they too can be harassed with the bad puns of the jokes. I'm sure that putting up QR codes like this can take different forms. Taking advantage to the new technology combined with the urge for users of this technology to find out what the codes say.

Post your own QR code jokes in the comments below and i hope you enjoyed this instructable!
