Quick Fix for a Broken Windshield.

I have few digs in my car windshield but recently this one got worse. One piece sticks out and it's sharp too.
Without spending the money to replace the windshield, I went about a 5 minute fix.

Oh how I appreciate thee. Thou hast fixed many broken items. Thou also hast helped make new projects. Oh almighty silicone, I bow to thee.

Using a damp Terry cloth I cleaned the area carefully without getting cut.

I put a liberal amount of silicone on the cracked region. Using my finger I carefully pasted the adhesive. I left it to cure for 12 hours and now my cracked windshield has a couple more years to go until replacement!
