Plug in you micro SD card and your micro USB cable into your Raspberry pi 3. Then plug your HDMI cable and controller. The raspberry pi 3 will start up and boot into Recalbox. When you are in the main menu you can see all the game consoles and games on those consoles!

If you happen to have a bluetooth controller, start by using your keyboard and pressing enter to go to settings menu, then go to controller settings, pair bluetooth controller and press ok.

Now start pressing you pair button on your controller and the pi should see it, then click on your controller and say pair. Now your controller should be paired with your raspberry pi!

To put more games on you raspberry pi 3, you need to download ROMs of your favorite games.

To do this go to a site that has ROMs (I am using internet archive) and then download

Then plug your micro SD card into your computer and put that ROM into the roms folder, then put it into the console folder that your game is for.

Thanks for Building!

Thank you for building this project I hope you learned something new and cool!

I think this project was very fun and cool to learn how to use raspberry pi and how to use older gaming systems!

Have fun playing with your new Retro game system!
