Reused Wooden Table (pallets)

I have always wanted a patio table for the back yard . It was a pain to find one that was big enoff also afforable to get
this a brife intructable that shows you that you can take old pallets and reuse them to what you desire.
 

here is the table 90% built .
I used old pallets . I cut the ends off  so I didnt have to remove nails .
I plain the endges down so i can biscut and wood glue the boards together.
I  use a hand planer to flaten some ruff edges.
then i started with 80 grit sandpaper finshed off to 400 grit.

After i sanded i just wasn't happy how the top was. So i used wood filer to fill all the gap's ect. i used 2 qts of maple sandable filler
  Once again i resanded the top smooth  .

Here you can see the stain applied (3x)
i used minwax dark magonany  
 I use a latex clear on the table. probly 1/2 gallon of clear i sanded between coats so it would be super smooth.
 the cost of the table was $65.00

12 pallets were  destroyed for this table
some wood glue
some more nails
few odds and ends from the dumster diving
the clear and stain were left over from another job i did
