Scarecrow

 This costume is made from a yellow gingham sundress I made.You could make a dress or pick one up at a thrift store. I put the sundress over a full tulle skirt that I made by attaching strips of tulle to a crochet headband. The hat is  a triangle of fabric folded in half and sewn to a circular brim. Patches and trim were sewn on for decoration. I added a couple of flowers.We used eyebrow liner for the triangular nose.
   Lastly fabric flowers were pinned down the front of the dress. A blue ribbon was added at the waist with some brown rickrack trim .
There is also rick rack trim at the bottom edge along with a line of red thread hand stitched just above the rick rack.
