Setting Up a System of Sonos Speakers

Sonos speakers offer high-quality wireless audio and seamless Bluetooth connection. Creating a home audio system with Sonos speakers is an easy and straightforward process, and this guide will walk you through how to do just that, from unboxing to playing your favorite music.
Supplies
1. Sonos speakers
2. Power Cables (often included with the speakers)
3. Home Wi-Fi Network
4. Smartphone or Tablet
5. Sonos App
Unboxing and Positioning Your Speakers

1. Remove the speaker from its packaging
2. Place the speaker in your desired location
3. Make sure the speaker is near a power outlet if it needs one
Download the Sonos App

1. On your smartphone or tablet, go to the App Store if you have an Apple device or the Google
Play Store if you have an android device
2. Search "Sonos" in the search bar and download the Sonos app
3. Open the app and sign in or create a new Sonos account.

Connect Speaker to Power and Wi-fi


1. Open the Sonos app and tap "Set up a new system" or "Speaker or component"
- If you have an existing system of speakers, click "connect to an existing system"
2. Follow the on screen instructions to pair your Sonos speaker to your home Wi-Fi
3. Plug in your speaker and wait for the LED light to start blinking. This means the speaker is ready
for pairing.
Add Your Sonos Speakers
1. The app will search for speakers connected to your Wi-Fi
2. When the speaker pops up, tap "Add"
3. The app will finalize set up and connect your speaker
4. If the app prompts you to update your speaker, proceed with these instructions
Link Your Music Streaming Services

1. In the Sonos app, go to settings and then to Services and Voice
2. Tap "Add a Service" and select whatever you use to stream music
3. Log in with the credentials to your music streaming service in order to link it
Group and Customize Your Sonos Setup
For multiple speakers:
1. Tap the "Rooms" tab to group or ungroup speakers.
2. Create stereo pairs for better sound.

Adjust settings:
