Hello everyone,

My name is Geleio Griego. I have been releasing music as independent artist/producer for two years; within this time frame have released multiple singles, 2 solo albums, and collaborated with multiple other up and coming artist.

Many aspiring, beginner artist/producers, or artists that travel alot; understand the stress, complexity, and cost that a quality studio set-up can bring. First there is the research; finding a microphone, amp, mixer, headphone, soundproofing and more that all fit your quality standard, budget, and most importantly your compatibility needs. Going from brand to brand; spending hours researching each product and comparing to each other is exhausting, time consuming, and still could end in a disappointing result.

An all-in-one StudioBox erases all of that headache, and gets you the results and performance you want. And today I am going to show you all how to fabricate one for yourself.

Fallow the picture guide; start with the bare empty Dell monitor box, and place the JBL speaker in the back right corner.

Using a pencil, outline the edges of the speaker that fall on the lifted edges of the bottom of the box.

Fallowing your pencil guidelines- cut out the box liner so the speaker may sit flat with the bottom of the box.

Installing Amp

Now that we have installed the JBL speaker, unfold the cardboard flap on the opposite back side of the monitor box.

Using the scissors cut a small rectangle on the top side of the cardboard addition.

With the flap open, trace the one edge of the amp with your pencil, and the second a little smaller than the actual width of the Amp; this is so we are able to the use the mount plates attached to the amp to essentially lock in in place with the back side of the monitor box.

Now cut out the traced stencil out of the inner cardboard layer of the box (NOT ALL THE WAY THROUGH).

Prior to finally installing the Amp, run/tuck the charging cord through the bottom lining of the monitor box, running toward the outside through the bottom corner of the box.

Finally, slide in and secure the Amp into the slot and fold back down the cardboard flap.

Installing Mic

Now ready to install the boom mic, find a perviously cut cardboard piece and cut a hole big enough to slide the base of the boom mic into.

Fold down front wall of monitor box.

Using the slit of the front box floor trim, wedge the base of the mic into it; being able to twist slightly side to side but stable standing up.

Feed/tuck connection cables through the base trim and exit at the base slit- in perfect place for amp connection.

Lastly use scotch tape the secure the base for the microphone.

Final Connections

Now with the Speaker, Amp, and microphone installed its time to connect everything together.

Using the copper audio cable, feed the cable through the base trim from the speaker cut-out, to the amp connection slit.

Connect the positive/negative sides of the cable to the speaker

While re-installing the amp in its holding, connect the opposite ends of the positive/negative copper audio able.

Plug in microphone to base of amp

Re-connect charger for Amp (if disconnect to connect others)

Finally, place the Macbook in the bare center of the box; using the usb-audio connect to plug in the computer to the MP3 connection of the Amp.

Plug in the headphones to the laptop.

Lastly, laying/folding the speaker/microphone on their side while allow you to quickly and compactly close the box/pack up the StudioBox for whenever you are on the go.

And just like that, you have an all-in-one, ready to go, StudioBox.
