Summer Mini Cooler

A mini summer cooler made from cardboard which is handy and without any need of electricity!

Supplies

Materials required for this are as followed:

  1. Cardboard
  2. Tape or Glue
  3. Ice cubes
  4. Mini fan
  5. Batteries
  6. Switch
  7. Motor
  8. Scissors
  9. Wooden Stickks

Cut the Cardboard As Shown

Cut the cardboard into pieces as shown in the attached image

Attach the Peices

Stick or paste the pieces that you cut before

Install the Switch

Cut a square in the front and insert the switch in it

Attach Motor With Fan

Attach the motor with the fan and stick it on surface inside the circle as shown in image

Add Batteries

Add the batteries and stick the cardboard piece in the set up we have made so far

Make a Pull Tab

“Glue the wooden sticks over the front opening. Then make a folded cardboard pull tab, insert it into the lower slot, and keep it movable so it can be pulled out later.”

The Final Step: Add Ice Cubes

Use the pull tab to slide out the tray. Cut the lower portion of a plastic bottle and use it as an ice holder, or place any small round container on the tray. Fill it with ice cubes and slide the tray back into the cardboard cooler.

If this cooler feels too small for you...you can make it in larger size by increasing the sizes of its materials except

batteries, motor , and switch
