Dont have a bike stand but have some wood lying around? This is the perfect solution! I did not add my own measurements in because every bike is different, so proper measurement is key!

Supplies

You're going to need your bike, some wood (2 by 4s were used here, but you can use whatever wood thickness that would best fit your bike), a tape measure, pencil, drill and screws, and a method of cutting your wood.

Measurements

First, youll need to measure a couple things, but before that you need to configure your wood and measure from there. I measured longways for the floor and along the tire, as it seemed most effective. Now that you have that settled, you now will need to measure how long your boards will be and how far apart they are. Put two boards under either side of your tire like door triangles, and then measure how far apart the outside edges are. This will tell you how long your boards will need to be after you cut them.

I would recommend placing your boards like so, with your boards that will be on the floor one the top and screws drilled through them. the bottom two boards are where your tire will nestle into. I would recomend a helper so your boards do not move while you drill and a piece of wood or two the same width of your tire in between to keep the proper shape.

The Finished Product!
