TBHK Inspired Traffic Safety Amulet

Toilet-Bound-Hanako-Kun has been my favorite anime recently, so I created a replica of Kou's amulet/earing! It's really simple and quick to make, and I also have a template you can print out to make your own.
Supplies

- Printed template
- Scissors
- Hot glue
- Mod Podge
- Small paintbrush
- Black thread
- Paperclip (black or red works best)
- Jewelry pliers
- Ruler
- Cardboard
- Sewing needle
template:
The template is hand drawn and made to fit Letter Paper size (You can use other sizes, but don't adjust to page)

Earing Clamp

Start by making the earing clamp. First, unbend and straighten out the paper clip, flattening it out the best you can.
Using the jewelry pliers, bend the wire at the 1 cm mark, then bend it back on the other side to create a triangle shape.
Bend the wire straight up, then loop it like the pictures show.
Cut off the access wire, and adjust it to fit on your ear!
Making the Amulet

Start by printing and cutting out the template.
Using Mod Podge, glue one piece onto the cardboard.
After it's dry, cut it out.
Glue the other piece on the opposite side of the cardboard. (Make sure to align it straight!)
Paint the Edges

Once the paper is dry, paint the edges of the cardboard to make it look cleaner.
Add Mod Podge Coat

After the paint is dry, use a coat of Mod Podge over the entire thing to protect the paper from tearing.
Make the Holes

Using a sewing needle, poke a hole through the top left and right corner of the amulet.
Stringing the Thread

Using your needle, insert the black thread into the holes, going into one hole and coming out the other.
Tie the thread together in a knot, leaving about 1 cm of distance between the amulet and the knot. Cut off the access.
Attaching the Clamp

Loop the thread onto the clam through the opening, hang it off the bottom part.
Apply a small drop of hot glue to make sure the thread stays in place on the clamp.
Use your scissors to cut off any access hot glue. Be careful not to cut off the thread!
Readjust the clamp to fit your ear, and it's finished!
